Jack Brandl, MSW, LSW, most recently served as Executive Director of Boxing Out Negativity, where he helped transform a beloved West Side program — raising millions, implementing core systems, and expanding it into a multi-site youth development and violence prevention powerhouse. Before BON, Jack led fundraising and development at Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation, one of the nation's oldest and largest grassroots affordable housing nonprofits. Before Bickerdike, he led the Reeb Center in Columbus, Ohio through the changes it needed to build the internal infrastructure and resources behind a successful collective impact model.

Jack is known for translating complicated organizational problems into things you can actually do on Monday morning. His work is grounded in collaboration, transparency, and the conviction that a nonprofit needs both heart and structure to last. He is especially committed to the neighborhood leaders who built something real without the luxury of a nonprofit career track — the founders running a program on nights and weekends because it's the work they were called to do.

Jack holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a dual Bachelor's in Public Management, Leadership and Policy and in African American and African Studies, with a minor in Spanish and a Certificate in Leadership in Human Services Management, all from The Ohio State University. He is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of Illinois.
